SCP Group Summer Roundup
Welcome to our Summer Roundup. For the SCP team, it’s been a busy few months with:
- Significant Achievements
- Community & Customer Events
- Charity Work & Partnerships
July – The Scaff Open Golf Event
This summer, we hosted our annual ‘Best Scaffolding Golfer of the Year’ competition known as ‘The Scaff Open.’ This year, we hosted the event at The Astbury Golf Resort and had our best turnout ever, with 100 construction industry professionals joining us for the day.
We partnered with The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity to raise awareness and support for scaffolding professionals. Stay connected with us on social media for updates on The Scaff Open 2025!
August – Supporting Education in Zanzibar
Our Finance Director, Rikki Dale, visited a charity school in Zanzibar to donate art supplies and food to the students. Rikki said, “It was heartwarming to be able to support these children, and the work the CEF School is doing for their community.”
After our new partnership was forged with the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity in June (July), this was the perfect next step for our team to take to do more to support other communities.
September – Ranjit Dale’s Honorary Fellowship
We are thrilled to announce that our Founder and Chairman, Ranjit Dale, received an Honorary Fellowship from the University of Wolverhampton. Dale was filled with gratitude and shared how honoured he felt to receive the award. Read more.
The fellowship recognises Dale’s entrepreneurial development and the significant contributions the SCP Group has made to the Wolverhampton community. Learn more.
Stay Connected
We are excited about our plans for the rest of the year. Already in September we kicked off our Autumn Calendar with a MacMillain Coffee Morning. Looking forward we are excited to continue to grow our team, with several new roles we are now hiring for, ahead of Christmas.
