Established eight years ago, EFE has grown from strength to strength, following a significant multi-million-pound investment by its owners, EFE now operates over 10 megawatts of biomass heating and drying achieving an annual carbon offset of 10,000 tonnes, contributing significantly to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
At its main site in Redditch occupying 8 acres, EFE process in excess of 500 tonnes of wood per week. This facility serves as the heart of EFE’s operations, where responsibly sourced wood is transformed into high-quality kiln-dried firewood and biomass boiler fuel that is made available to both local and national retail customers, ensuring widespread access to Woodsure and BSL Accredited eco-friendly products.
