As part of SCP Group, Forgeco Ltd & Metal Spraying (UK) Ltd are two companies that work closely together to produce and supply high-quality scaffolding equipment which is distributed nationally.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and motivated Sales Executive to join our sales team! As our Sales Executive your main responsibility will be to drive our business success by implementing a strong and sustainable sales strategy, turning leads and prospects into repeat customers.

We are recruiting for a self-motivated sales individual with an impressive sales background and ideally scaffolding experience (although not essential), full training will be given.

We would like an individual with bags of enthusiasm for this role, based from our office location but with a requirement to travel throughout the UK where required.

The role will include but is not limited to:
• Leading external sales activities of the company reporting to the Head of Sales.
• Updating a pipeline daily and having a thorough understanding of all prospects at any point.
• Acting as a point of contact between customers and companies
• Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers.
• Gathering market and customer information to figure out the customer needs.
• Responding to customer queries and resolving their objections to get them to make a purchase.
• Making outbound calls to book appointments on a UK wide basis.
• Maintaining and growing sales to the existing customer base and develop new accounts.
• Sell and introduce new and exciting products and dealing with direct orders.
• Sustain company values and objectives, building customer relationships and after sales.
• Travel throughout the UK as required to meet the needs of the business and the customers.
To be considered for this role – you will meet the following requirements.
• Have a full driving licence
• Ability to identify business opportunities, growth and potential within the marketplace.
• Excellent communication skills in all phone, verbal and written situations.
Scaffolding experience is desirable however we are more keen on the fit of the candidate with a first class work ethic and the willingness to get up and go each day!
